Peoria DUI task force out for football fans this weekend

Football fans beware: police will be on full alert this weekend for impaired drivers driving home from watching their favorite games.  Peoria police department has announced it will join forces with other agencies in the area on a DUI task force Saturday through Sunday.  The task force will feature additional officers on the road looking out for swerving, speeding, or any other minor traffic violation in order to pull drivers over to find out if they are driving under the influence.  Other valley cities will also certainly be extra cautious.

The best way to avoid a DUI charge is to not drive if you have had alcohol.  Find a designated driver or call for a taxi.  Many bars and restaurants now offer rides as well.  If you do get pulled over and have been drinking you could face one of the countries toughest courts for DUIs.  An Arizona DUI conviction can ruin your life: your job or education might be jeopardized, future job opportunities could be crushed, and losing your license is embarrassing and inconvenient.  Not to mention hefty fines, court appearances and jail time.

If you are charged with a DUI, immediately call Arizona’s DUI defense lawyer Matthew Lopez.  Hiring a well-respected and highly trained Peoria DUI lawyer will help relieve the stress during this difficult time.  Peoria DUI lawyer Matthew Lopez Law will fight to reduce or eliminate the charges so you can move on with your life.  Call for a free case evaluation today or visit the website for more information on Arizona DUI, Arizona extreme DUI, Arizona aggravated DUI and DUI defenses.
